Members of New Hampshire Made and the Farm to Restaurant Connection are now eligible for special low rates from UPS which provides guaranteed overnight delivery within New England for weekday shipments (Monday - Thursday). This partnership will not only facilitate direct sales to expanded markets, but will enable food producers to ship overnight throughout New England, offering restaurant chefs the finest New Hampshire fresh produce and other food products.
Each member will have an individual account with UPS, but all members' charges will be credited to one contract so that total shipping charges can be calculated at a volume discount rate. These reduced rates will be reflected on your own individual invoice.
Discounts are for ground service, next day delivery in New England, Monday - Thursday. An example of shipping cost under this contract:
A package weighing 20 pounds is regularly $6.32 with a 4.75% fuel surcharge recalculated monthly is added for total cost of $6.62
A discount of 21% (based on $300 - $449 weekly shipping charges) = $1.39 Final shipping charge is $5.23.
Note: The price will vary depending upon the size of the box. Packages may be dropped at any UPS Store, or an Office Depot, Staples or other affiliated center, or given to any UPS driver without further charges. To find a location near you, visit www.ups.com. To have your business become a part of this group contract, simply complete the form below (every field must be complete to be valid) and submit to New Hampshire Made for validation. New Hampshire Made will then send this form to UPS who will add you to the contract and email you confirmation of receipt. It's that simple.
If you already have an account with UPS, enter that account number on the form. If you do not have a UPS account, go to www.ups.com or call 1-800-PICKUPS and open an account. If you already have an incentive plan with UPS, you should contact your UPS sales representative to determine which program will offer the greater incentives before joining our program.
